Prinses Irenestraat 59 | Villa Strawinsky

Villa Strawinsky, one of the oldest buildings in the famous Amsterdam Zuidas-area, is being transformed into a prestigious office building: Prinses Irenestraat 59 / PI59. Named after the street and house number it resides at. The building will feature six large, flexible, and well-lit office floors, totaling approximately 3,000 square meters, to provide an extremely comfortable work environment.

The existing concrete facade will be replaced by a new facade featuring large, curved glass windows that will transform the building into a transparent, light-filled space. The addition of a terrazzo facade will give the building a lively appearance.

To create a reliable and efficient facade design, Rollecate collaborated with Wessels to translate the facade impression into a tailor-made design that includes new profiles. A mock-up has already been built, and all parties have approved it.

Starting in week 40-2022, we will be supplying the building weekly with materials and installing the new facade.

Upon completion, Prinses Irenestraat 59 will be awarded a BREEAM-NL Excellent certification, proving the building's commitment to sustainability. Villa Strawinsky will provide a welcoming and modern workspace that meets the highest standards of quality and aesthetics in the heart of the Zuidas-area.
